SENIOR ADULT FITNESS

At Fitness 24-7, we specialize in helping older adults continue living their active lifestyles. All too often, fitness programs overlook the specific needs or concerns of senior adults, including arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis and more. That’s why we offer fitness options with professionals certified in senior-specific fitness approaches to help you gain endurance, flexibility, strength and balance.

Success story: Claudia Wolfe

Claudia started her fitness journey with big goals in mind: get stronger, build muscle, lose weight, and maintain the weight loss. Working a desk job and having no prior fitness experience, she knew she needed to literally get moving to make it happen. And that’s just what she did!

She joined Fitness 24-7 and took step classes, kickboxing, yoga, and nutrition coaching, and worked with personal trainers Andre and Karen to guide her fitness journey safely.

After a fall left Claudia with shoulder and wrist injuries, she was sidelined for several months of recovery and physical therapy. But that didn’t stop her! Claudia came back more focused than ever and began personal training sessions with Cheryl.

“Cheryl was absolutely wonderful. If I had any pain from my injuries, she knew how to modify my exercises so I could still get a good workout.”

The result? Claudia lost an incredible 70 lbs. in three years. But Claudia’s incredible weight loss wasn’t due to exercise alone.

“I learned from Karen’s nutrition class that what you eat is as important as being active. I lost 70 lbs. with better food habits and staying consistent with exercising and now I feel stronger, healthier, happier and so much more grateful!” –Claudia
