HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING is a workout with each exercise arranged and performed as short bursts of very hard work. The whole point of high-intensity training is to pickup the intensity of your heart rate. In order to qualify as true HIIT you’ll need to push yourself to the max during every set. That’s why each exercise is short. (Anywhere from 20 – 90 seconds.)
Build cardiovascular endurance and burn calories in this multi-level 30-60 minute class great for all ages and fitness levels. Members are instructed to use tension, cadence (speed), and bike position to guide themselves through exercises targeting various muscle groups. Bike safety and personalized bike set-up are reviewed with all members along with personalized heart rate zones in a recommended orientation. A towel and water bottle are required for class. A heart rate monitor and padded gel seat are optional, but recommended. Spin your way to a new you in a fun and energizing setting!
Candlelight Flow Yoga
Focuses on traditional Vinyasa (flow) with holding poses. The lights are dimmed, the room is filled with candles creating a calming and relaxing ambiance. Class will end with Savasana (guided relaxation.)
Power Flow Yoga
A fast-paced class that coordinates movement and breath to flow from one pose to the next. Emphasis on building strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. Ideal for intermediate and advanced yoga practitioners. Modifications and variations of poses will be offered. Class will end with Savasana (guided relaxation.)
Hatha Flow Yoga
Slower paced yoga class with holding poses longer. Emphasis on alignment, flexibility, and balance. Class will end with Savasana (guided relaxation.)
FUNCTIONAL INTERVAL TRAINING is designed for maximum calorie burn in the shortest amount of time. This class will get your heart rate pumping and sweat dripping through a variety of exercises that incorporate cardio, strength, endurance, core, flexibility, and functional movement!
The only thing you can expect by coming to these classes is that your heart will receive a great conditioning workout and your muscles will receive a great burn. Classes will include a variety of plyometrics, calisthenics, Tabata intervals, functional movements, and weight-training with dumbbells, barbells, medicine balls, etc. No two classes will ever be the same.
This class, Love 2 Lift (But Love My Joints,) provides a “joint friendly,” low-impact workout that will help you stay toned and fit without all of the the “high impact” consequences on your ligaments, tendons, and joints.
A high intensity class that incorporates cardio kickboxing moves, bodyweight strength exercises, agility and some coordination. Take your body to the next level with this challenging class, work up a good sweat, burn a lot of calories and have some fun!
Do you love our cycle classes but also wish you could get some weight lifting and plyometrics done in the same hour? In this class you’ll be getting on and off the bikes throughout the workout. The workouts will include free weights, medicine balls, BOSU balls and bodyweight.
This class is a high intensity interval workout using almost every muscle in the body. The exercises are four minutes long with a twenty second work time and a ten second rest. Participants will improve cardiovascular endurance, strength, agility as well as burn calories throughout your day. All levels are welcome.
